I am a dedicated social activist, QA Analyst, Web Developer, SEO specialist, and blockchain researcher. As a co-founder of the Dhunibeshi Youth Society, I have been actively leading and serving community based projects in Dhunibeshi, Dhading.

I am also a founding member of Swotah UNESCO Club and a former volunteer with Bhanu UNESCO Club and NAAFUCAN, contributing to various social initiatives. I hold a bachelor's degree Computer Science from Tribhuvan University. With over two years of professional experience as a QA Analyst, I bring technical expertise and a passion for innovation. My research interests lie in blockchain technology and machine learning, and I am currently working on a comparative research paper exploring multiple linear regression with L1 and L2 regularization techniques.

  • Education is the cornerstone of community development, yet in rural Nepal, government schools often struggle to meet even the most basic educational needs. As someone who has closely worked with Kali Devi Primary School in Dhunibeshi, Dhading, I’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges and triumphs of rural education. While the school battles issues like insufficient infrastructure and limited resources, the efforts of Dhunibeshi Youth Society (DYC) and the collective resolve of the community have sparked positive change.

    At Kali Devi Primary School, DYC has been actively supporting students by providing essential stationary materials and fostering an engaging classroom environment. This small but impactful step has made a noticeable difference. For many students, access to basic school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, and crayons can mean the difference between attending school and staying home. When we distributed these materials, the joy and enthusiasm on the children’s faces were deeply moving. These seemingly minor contributions fuel their desire to learn and stay in school.

    We’ve also introduced initiatives to make learning more interactive and enjoyable. Engaging classes—supported by local volunteers and experienced educators—have transformed the way students perceive education. Instead of rote learning, children participate in activities that encourage creativity and critical thinking. It’s incredible to see how such changes inspire not just the students but also the teachers, many of whom have expressed their appreciation for the renewed energy in their classrooms.

    Reflecting on the challenges at Kali Devi and similar schools, it becomes evident that addressing systemic issues is crucial. Poor infrastructure, such as dilapidated classrooms and the lack of proper sanitation, continues to be a hurdle. However, with small, consistent efforts, these gaps can be bridged. For instance, building safe and child-friendly classrooms, improving access to clean water, and ensuring proper sanitation facilities can significantly enhance the learning environment. Technology, too, can play a transformative role—simple tools like projectors or tablets can open doors to quality educational resources that would otherwise be inaccessible in rural settings.

    Community involvement has been another key learning from our experience. At Kali Devi, engaging parents through regular meetings and encouraging them to participate in school activities have strengthened the connection between the school and the community. When parents feel invested, the ripple effect on the children is immediate—they attend school more regularly and take greater pride in their education.

    Of course, these efforts require collaboration. Partnerships with NGOs, local businesses, and even alumni can provide the necessary resources and expertise. For example, alumni of Kali Devi, many of whom have moved to urban areas, are now showing interest in supporting their alma mater by donating materials and even volunteering to mentor students. These connections help sustain the progress and inspire hope for the future.

    In conclusion, my experience with Kali Devi Primary School has reinforced the belief that even small actions can create meaningful change. By addressing basic needs, engaging the community, and leveraging partnerships, we can ensure that rural government schools like Kali Devi become centers of opportunity. The children of rural Nepal deserve an education that not only prepares them for the future but also preserves their pride in their heritage. Together, with consistent effort and collaboration, we can make that vision a reality—one school at a time.
